Be sure to download the soft font to the printer before or along with the text file. To make sure the font is being selected in the print file, use the hex dump mode (Page 7-54).

Permanent Soft Font Has Not Been Downloaded to the Printer

Be sure to download the soft font to printer before text file. (To make sure the font is available in the PCL emulation, print a font page using the Print Menu.)

Temporary Soft Font is Being Erased by a Reset from the Print Driver
|
To check for a reset code, use the hex dump mode (Page 7-54) or an emulation command printout (Page 7-54).
