If Top Cover Is Not Latched on One Side, Print May Be Lighter on That Side of Printout
The drum is held down by the top cover. Make sure cover is latched securely on both sides.

Dirty Transfer Corona Wire or Misaligned Transfer Charger
- Clean corona wire.
- Run a "Transfer Sequence Fault Isolation Test"(Page 7-39). If the images appear OK on the drum but not on the paper, suspect a misaligned transfer charger. If necessary, call for service.

Dirty LSU Cover Glass

Thick Media (paper, label, or card stock) or Media Containing Too Much Moisture May Affect the Right or Left Side of the Printout

Worn Drum
If a drum has been used extensively to print narrow forms, it will tend to show that fact when you switch to wide forms. Print may seem lighter from the drum area used in printing the narrow forms.
