	4200 Series Troubleshooting Guide Problem:   In a parallel Centronics configuration, printer POWER LED remains lit after the printer is turned OFF. Probable Cause Solution The computer is supplying +5V on interface cable Pin 18. The printer also produces a +5V output on this pin that is tied indirectly to the printer +5V power supply. When printer power is OFF, the computer +5V feeds back through the printer circuitry, lighting the printer POWER LED. Isolate Pin 18 at the printer end of the interface cable.
