4200 Series Troubleshooting Guide
- Problem:
- Single Beep with "Paper Out"Message
- Install paper.
- If installed, ensure that paper is positioned so that it passes over the paper out switch.
If paper is backed up using DOWN ARROW, the paper may be forced away from
the sensor causing a "Paper Out"message.
- If paper is installed and positioned properly, manually press the paper out switch (see the following illustration).
- If the printer now recognizes paper, the paper out switch requires adjustment.
- If paper is still not recognized, replace it, if switch passes, replace daughter board.
